We will be installing new carpet in the lobby of the Hilton Gardens at BWI. The carpet will be a patterned carpet over double glue down also called double stick pad. The advantages of the double stick pad are that it is more comfortable with more insulation, and the pad will extend the life of the carpet. Installing this type of carpet does require skill and experience. It also requires additional time and effort. Due to the manufacturing process, the panel sizes may vary slightly, and will be necessary to stretch the shortest panel to the length of the longest. Of course, the panels must be in correct position and patterns aligned according to the blueprint. This project requires a patient craftsman, and luckily, we know just where to find him!
