Baltimore Carpet Repair & Cleaning was contacted by Heather with regards to carpet damage caused by her dog, and a mark caused by dropping her curling iron. Existing stains made large carpet patch difficult to blend. You can see in top left corner that if all carpet was preserved as installed, that it would blend in almost completely with no seam showing. A good steam cleaning will blend this is quite nicely. Smaller stain was also a difficult match as carpet, due to heavy foot traffic near a bed-side, had been completely matted and frayed to destroy the cut-pile’s original stand. Here you can see the color blends nicely, but a difference in thread-quality makes it difficult to not to notice a patch of fresh carpet.
