Billy called to carpet his project on S Castle St. here in Fells Point.  We carpeted 3 floors and 3 sets of stairs.  We decided to carpet around the railings to give it a cleaner look so the homeowner wouldn’t have to look at the bolts holding the railing to the sub floor.   The stair are always a wonderful challenge in the city.  To give you an idea on one set of stairs the width of the steps ranged from 30 inches to 31 1/2 inches making the stairs a long and tedious process because you have to do 1 step at a time!
