3-8-2012 Baltimore Carpet Repair & Cleaning was called to Joppatown for a family room stretching job pictures and review by Carpet Repair Baltimore | Mar 8, 2012 A friend called and said her mom had carpeting that had ripples in it and could it be re-stretched. Baltimore Carpet Repair & Cleaning arrived and after inspection found that the tack strips were no good, and that there were vinyl tiles under the carpet on top of the conrete subfloor. This posed a big problem because the tack strip needs to be secured to the concrete subfloor. Solution: we chipped away about 1 inch of the vinyl tiles so that we could secure the tack strip properly. Baltimore Carpet Repair & Cleaning used a Crain power stretcher and re-stretched the family room back to “drum tight”. The stretching went well and turned out very nice. .
