That had the same issue.  Nino is right outside Baltimore in Nottingham or White Marsh and recently sold his home.  Before leaving he wanted to repair the carpet.  He had Berber carpet in the basement that needed repairing and stretching. There wasn’t any Berber runs or Berber pulls  but the carpet had been damaged and needed to be prepared. The tack strips needed to be replaced as well as a little pad.  We first performed a carpet patch near the sliding glass door and then power stretched the carpet.  Seaming is always done prior to any stretching of carpet.   All went well and Nino was thrilled.  Here’s what he had to say…
