had some water coming in the basement.  He did the right thing by pulling up the carpet, but in the process the seam came apart.  This is Berber carpet with a pattern in it.  For this repair to be done right you really need extra carpet that was left over from the installation.  IT MAY NOT SEEM IMPORTANT AT THE TIME BUT ALWAYS KEEP YOUR EXTRA CARPET!.  Because extra carpet was not kept the repair or patch will be done but won’t look right because of the pattern in the carpet.  We have purchased extra pad and will be doing the repair on Tuesday the 12th so check back for the results….
