HUGE BASEMENT power stretching!
Large basement stretching is a bit more difficult for two reasons. First, the poles have to be used because the subfloor is concrete. Secondly, the carpet becomes stiff because of the cold concrete, not to mention the tack strips have to be very secure or they won’t be able to hold the stretch.
Most of the time, carpet ripples are caused by poor installation. Do you have carpet ripples?
