There were 2 bedrooms that had carpet ripples and a room in the basement.  The 2 bedrooms were pretty straight forward and stretched out nicely.  The basement on the other hand was quite interesting.  The basement carpet had 2 layers of padding.  Yup you read it right 2 layers of pad.  Granted it felt like you were walking on clouds but the big problem was that it wasn’t  rippling everywhere.  Because there were 2 layers of pad the carpet was lifted off of the tack strips.  We had to lift all the carpet to remove 1 layer of pad and stretch the carpet back it.
