the stairs repaired.  He pulled up the carpet on the stairs but rough cut it at the top.  Because it was cut back to far we had to perform a carpet patch.  Usually you could just wrap the carpet around the top lip and staple in but from the pictures you can see it was cut back too far.  We used a section of carpet from a closet and the repair came out very nice.
