3-04-2012 Baltimore Carpet Repair & Cleaning was called to Owings Mills for stretch of Massive Master Bedroom and Hall by Carpet Repair Baltimore | Mar 5, 2012 Baltimore Carpet Repair & Cleaning performed a power stretch on a master bedroom (approximately 400 sq. ft.) in Ownings Mills. There were 3 ripples in the bedroom alone! This was due to what I call “knee kick installation”. A knee kicker is cheap, weighs about 5 lbs, and is anywhere from 17″ to 21″ long whereas a power stretcher is expensive, weighs 49.5 lbs. and stretches from one end of the room to the other. As you can imagine, knee kicking is the preferred method of installing carpet. We only use a power stretcher when installing carpet and re-stretching carpet. A knee kicker is a nessessary and valued tool, but should be use to compliment the power stretcher. – . Submit a Comment Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
