6-12-2012 Susan in Fells Point needed carpet stretching and carpet cleaning for a rental! by Carpet Repair Baltimore | Jun 12, 2012 Baltimore Carpet Repair, Cleaning, Sales & Installation We did a new carpet installation for Susan about a month back for another one of her rentals. This rental we were to stretch the carpet and give it a good general cleaning. The stretching the bedroom went flawlessly and came out perfect. On the other hand, the living came out just OK. The problem in the living room is that whoever installed the carpet never put tack strips under the radiator! Tack strips are essential to keeping your carpet from developing carpet ripples which are also referred to as carpet waves, or carpet bubbles. There is absolutely no excuse for this poor workmanship except that they just didn’t give a crap about the client and their carpet. Sorry to sound harsh but i call it how i see it. CEAP gets you CHEAP! I know were all trying to save a buck or two, but hiring the cheapest guy out there will usually cost you more down the road.
